Which data we process
Browsing data
The systems that run the website collect some technical data, such as the IP address, the type of browser and the pages visited. This data is needed to run the website and to protect it from abuse, and it is kept only for as long as strictly necessary.
Data you send us
When you fill in the form to book a demo or to contact us, the data you enter (name, business name, phone number, message) is put together into a WhatsApp message that you send yourself. We use it only to reply to you and, if you ask, to arrange the demo.
Why we process it and on what basis
- Running the website and keeping it secure: legitimate interest of the controller.
- Replying to your requests and arranging the demo: pre-contractual measures taken at your request.
- Complying with legal obligations, for example tax obligations: legal obligation.
For how long
Data from contact requests is kept for the time needed to handle them and in any case for no longer than 24 months from the last contact, unless you become a customer.
Who can see it
The data may be processed by suppliers who help us run the website and communicate with you, appointed as data processors where required:
- the website's hosting provider;
- WhatsApp Ireland Limited, for the messages you send us through WhatsApp.
Some suppliers may process data outside the European Union. In these cases the transfer takes place with the safeguards provided for by the GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions of the European Commission.
Your rights
At any time you can ask to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing, object to its processing or receive it in a readable format. Write to ciao@novamenu.eu. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
